Family planner
Things you buy every week. They go on every shopping list automatically.
Messages stay on this phone until Share with family is switched on. Share with family
Switch off anything your family doesn't need and it disappears everywhere.
Today then starts with that person's jobs and appointments. Each phone keeps its own answer.
Everyone's points go into one total, Monday to Sunday. Nobody is ranked: the family reaches the goal together or not at all. It needs at least two family members.
The head counts set how many serves a new meal starts with, so the shopping list buys the right amount. A family dinner serves everyone, adults' meals serve the adults, children's meals serve the children.
Start a line with a picture, such as 👕, and it shows large for children who can't read yet.
Add your own school's breaks, or days that differ from the official dates. They are shaded in What's on.
Put the aisles in the order you walk your supermarket, and the shopping list follows it.
Your own questions take turns with the built-in ones.
To install on iPhone or iPad: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
A big, always-on view of today for a tablet on the fridge or kitchen wall. Open the app on the tablet, join the family, then switch this on.
Sharing keeps this planner the same on every phone that joins it. Anyone with the code can see and change the planner, so only give it to family.
Joining adds anything already on this phone to the shared planner.
This planner is shared. Changes on any phone reach the others within about 20 seconds while the app is open.
Sharing code
Naming the exact thing lands better than "good job". For example: "You packed your bag without being asked."
Tick everyone who shares this job. The first person ticked does it in the week you're looking at, then it moves down the list each week.
Add everyone who shares the planner. Give each person a colour or a photo so their jobs and dates are easy to spot.
